Spent the weekend away from home. So much of my advanced planning was just too difficult to stick to. I was *very* good at the breakfast buffet - just fruit and a bowl of cereal - but THEN - lunch out with friends struck. Actually even that was pretty healthy: grilled fish, veggies, salad, boiled potatoes - but it was a lot. And THEN - dinner - that's where I fell apart: dinner with a group meant no special orders. The sandwich came with french fries, so I ate them. All of them. They were delicious. Also had a (delicious) beer. And who was it that bought fudge? Not me - but I sure did eat it!
Eating 5 meals out just proved a little too much for me. I did not resist the bread that I was not expecting to be on my plate.
I got a fair amount of exercise - lots of walking.
I need to do better on my self control when it comes to eating.
