I have been watching the biggest loser and have been motivated by their ability to put in some serious time at the gym. Granted they are isolated and don't have the added stress of work and family, but it still takes dedication. Those that go home and lose weight are even more of an inspiration since they do have all the stresses I do. I did a spin a thon today. I figured I would do 1 hour since I am used to spinning for that long. But after the first hour, I figured I was still feeling okay and if the biggest loser contestants can work out for that long surely I could! So three hours and fifteen minutes later my legs felt like jelly and I wasn't sure I would be able to push the gas peddle to drive home, but I had worked out like a fiend. I don't think I would be able to do that everyday due to real life intefering, but I do feel accomplished that I spent 3 solid hours on a Saturday in the gym and I survived!
