10/2/2009 I said I was going to get back on track on Monday, and I have done just that. So many times I have said that but not followed through and then ended up feeling worse. I figured out how to get exercise done in the mornings depsite having 2 kids at home to get ready for school...I am having them eat their breakfast at school, which leaves me 30 minutes to walk at the park across the street from where I work all before 8 AM. This has double benefits because the kids are getting a nutritionally rounded breakfast from the school instead of just the cold cereal they are used to at home and I am getting in some cardio. All of those SparkPeople Family emails I get are paying off! Two good things happened yesterday. First, I ordered The Spark. The book alone sounds great, but when you put all the cool goodies with it, it becomes AWESOME! Secondly, I started running again. Well, wogging..Julie's term for walking and jogging together. There is a 5k in Fort Worth the day after Thanksgiving and I'm wanting to sign up for it. I think I'll go find the website now and sign up.
