Sorry I was MIA without warning...

My internet left again on Saturday and never returned. HughesNet scheduled a technician to visit for a charge of $125 plus.

Turns out that HughesNet knew about my problem because they caused it and instead of apologizing for the inconvenience decided to charge me for a service call.

Today I am with WildBlue and HughesNet is only a bad memory.

For anyone waiting for me to reply - I am sorry but this was unavoidable on my side. H.N. phased out my satellite on me without warning. I came back as soon as I was able.

I missed y'all so much!

    Don't you just love some of the internet providers. When Comcast was my internet provider, I lost email service for 5 days and the 4 days. I was buried in emails. Since I changed to yahoo, no more problems. Glad to see you back.

    Linda, as I commented on your Spark feed, I am glad that it wasn't a more serious problem. I know that the men in your life have health issues, and I am glad all is ok.

    I lost my internet connection for a few days when I returned home from a few days in California in February. It was maddening. I never totally lost access, since I was able to log on from work and from some areas with public internet access. I am sorry you had problems with your ISP. We will be switching ISPs next week, from Comcast to Verizon Fios.

    In any event, welcome back!!!

    I'd be lost without my internet connection. It wasn't too long ago that I avoided being right on top of new technology. Now, I just right in to try new things. I don't know what I'd do without it. Welcome back.
