too funny - I'll take that as a compliment!!

Wednesday, September 30, 2009

My oldest turned 14 Sept 18th... she is a SKINNY minnie - she is a size 0 and is 5'2" - I'm 5'4" and a size 1... we go together to buy our jeans because there are few stores that carry such tiny sizes for us (our walmart does NOT have clothes that fit either of us)

Here's the thing though - she keeps taking MY clothes!! A couple weeks ago, younger DD (age 4) came to me complaining "she wont stop going through your clothes momma" (she was waiting on big sissy to take her for a walk around the block but sissy couldnt decide what to wear) LOL

Then last week on our vacation, I laid out my clothes, then got in the shower - when I got out of the shower my jeans were gone... look... look... look... they were NO where - Finally I said "where are my jeans, I put them RIGHT HERE" Then Michaela said "oh were those yours?" LOL She couldn't find HER jeans so she decided to just wear MINE!!! NOT! As I only took one pair of jeans with me on vacation...

Monday we went shopping and she was wearing MY shirt...

Last night as I was about to go to bed, I get to my room and guess what? Michaela is wearing MY pajamas!! LOL

She wears MY shoes, MY shirts, MY jeans, MY pajamas!!! Oh and I busted her going through MY makeup (I wear makeup maybe 4-6 times a year, but still, its MINE) I told her that "this kaboodle is OFF limits" She responds "but you never even wear it" So what, can't "I" have something that is JUST mine!!!

Anyway, I take it as a compliment that at least my 14 yr old likes my style LOL Thats a good thing right?

But there's times I want to wear something and its either dirty (because she's already worn it) or she's WEARING it! :)

Last night she said "well if you weren't so skinny then I couldn't wear your clothes" What to think of that! LOL

That's sweet. You must be a pretty hip mom our your daughter wouldn't want your clothes. I haven't been that size in many year but I do remember the struggle finding clothes.

I have never worn a size 1, but my oldest daughter did, size 6 was my smallest a few years ago. She really had problems finding clothes. She was not a size 1 through the bust, and she blames that on me.

At least your daughter thinks you wear cool clothes.
