I got a battery for my scale and now I wish I hadn't!

Ok so I'm trying not to freak out or be mad at myself. I know this is probably just bloated water weight due to it being around my time of month. But I got on the scale and guess what..I'm UP 2 pounds. That makes it official. I am officially the biggest I have ever been. I'm sitting at 290.

Gotta change this.

I mentioned my plan in my last blog and that I was looking into joining a gym. Well I got the information and Crystal approved of it. So I am joining Anytime Fitness this week or weekend.

    You can do this!!! You have made the right choice to come to SparkPeople and start a new lifestyle.

I started the end of March and I'm almost under 200. I've been very good about my exercise but haven't been tracking food recently or I'd already be below 200. I HAVE been making much healthier choices. Lots of fruits and vegetables and cutting back on processed sugar, white flour breads, and bad fat foods. I've been tracking in my head thinking that's ok and it's not. When I was tracking religiously I was losing 1,2, or 3 pounds a week. Now I am losing more slowly. So, I recommend that you TRACK YOUR FOOD. And EXERCISE DAILY. Yes, daily. Start slow if you need to but make exercise a daily habit. Even if it's only 10 min. to start with.

I am so happy that you put new batteries in your scale. It's distressing but in a few weeks you will start to feel wonderful! God bless you! I know you can do this!!!

Stay away from the Halloween candy.

    The biggest thing that has helped me lose weight is tracking and planning my meals. They say you have to burn more than you consume. It's difficult to do that if you don't have a clear picture of what you're consuming. The two go hand in hand.
