Fall, a new season. For me every season challenges my positive attitude, emotions,and habits.
*Summer with its longer days, more outdoor activities, fresh veggies and grilling staying on course is easier.
*Fall with the shorter days, more time indoors, and warm comfort foods brings a shift in my thinking.
These seasonal changes bring different schedules and adjustments of my activities and food. If I do not review my current status then I tend to take back my old habits. It is a slippery slop...bargaining portions, not recording my food, and the overall ambivalence of my healthy lifestyle and goals.
I have done the following things...
Took a food inventory of my fridge and cabinets
Went grocery shopping to restock healthy items
Change up my exercise program....I have taken up swim lessons!
Record weight and measurements
Things I need to do....
Research for new recipes
Journal, Journal, Journal everyday!!!
Create new goals for the next three months....
I look forward to the new season and a renewed motivation to obtain my goals!
