Why didn't they go to McDonalds

Saturday, September 26, 2009

I had breakfast at The Four Inns this morning. I ordered 1 poached egg, an order of bacon (4 strips), and order of rye toast. I got everything but only 1 strip of bacon. That's probably all I should have. I eat the middle of the toast where the butter is. LOL. It took awhile today while it usually is really fast. The chef was rushed and stressed. Effidently someone had ordered a huge order and was coming to pick it up. The waitress asked if there was anything she could do and he said why didn't they go to McDonalds. He's usually laughing, teasing, and joking.

Then I headed to the library. I saw how beautiful it was outside so I was trying to get to street level so I could get some vitamin D. I went straight across a skyway I've never been on before because it just leads to a parking garage. I never went up any steps but I had to go down 3 flights of stairs. Down is easier for me. I ended up across from the building I live in. So I got extra exercise, stairs and more walking. Love that sunshine.

Sounds like a fairly nice day except for the restaurant putting you on a diet!

What a nice story. How long have you been banded? Has toast always been okay for you? I heard bread is hard to get down. I am having surgery in the next few months hopefully.
