.....to fall into lazy ways. During the Summer I was taking my grandkids swimming every Saturday - 2 1/2 hours of playing hard with three kids will really burn calories. My Spark Buddy and I were going to the gym three times a week and getting in some really good strength training and then I was getting in some fat burning cardio on my own. THEN (the dreaded turn in events) my RA started to flair up and it hit my knees. Rather than pushing through, I used it as an excuse for cutting back. And, yes, an excuse. My knees aren't that bad.
I know that it is key to my health and weight loss that I stay very active. I have the metabolism of a slug when I am not active. I must not sink back into my old, lazy ways. I will blog again next Wednesday before I leave on my trip and hopefully I will feel better about my activity level.
