Bummer

Back up a few pounds. I knew it was going to happen, I just have such a difficult time resisting overeating when I am out. Yesterday at the fight party, I ate mac n cheese, fried chicken, sausage and peppers, taco dip and I wasn't even that hungry. I just ate it because it was there, part of the party and it looked good. I wouldn't feel so bad if I had smaller portions, but I rationalize and say 'oh, I'll make up for it by doing extra exercise tomorrow', which of course I didn't do. So, here we go again. Pretty much back to square one.... emoticon

    Fortunately, that was yesterday. It's already gone. Today you get another shot at changing the ending.

    Don't be hard on yourself. I have the same exact problem. What WE have to do is look at it as a learning experience. Maybe next time you could choose a large salad at home just before you leave. Also make an effort to just choose a couple of the items, and take a little less than you would. That way you aren't feeling left out, but being a little wiser. Most of all don't beat yourself up. We are on a journey. I'm still working on the 6 lbs I gained on vacation, we have been back for a week already.... emoticon
