My mother-in-law proposed this crazy idea today. She suggested we play "The Biggest Loser" in our family. We are each allowed to use our own program, and we'll have one (or two) set(s) of scales available for our official weigh-in. Right now I think that we have 4 or 5 contestants. We're gonna set up a grab bag of goodies for when we reach little goals and stuff, and it will also make us eat better when we all get together.
My program will pretty much be the same as what I've been doing. Avoid simple carbs, don't overload on the complex ones either, continue my metformin (for my PCOS) and keep moving. I don't do very well at tracking my food and exercise, but I know I'm doing it and eating the better stuff because I've lost 20.5 pounds since July 21.
We don't have all the details worked out yet, but I'm pretty excited about it.
