I enjoyed your VLOG. I definitely don't think having one day of cheating is going to hurt you. You've lost 40 lbs already which is wonderful. I've heard that when you allow yourself to have a cheat day, it speeds up your metabolism the next day when you get back on track. So I hope this is true because I am going to 2 birthday parties/dinners today. One is at my favorite pizza place, Mellow Mushroom. I'm allowing myself to have some of the foods I love, because I haven't cheated so far and I don't want to end up binging in the long run.

As for taking Ali, I don't know if that is such a good idea. I tried it for about a week and ended up with a blood clot in my leg that hasn't went away in 2 years. It's extremely painful and some times makes me almost incapable to walk. I don't have proof that Ali caused it, but I do have blood reports and test from the week before I started taking it that show I was 100% healthy with no chance of developing the blood clot before I took the pills.

Have a great day!

Congrats on your weight loss!!! You can really tell in your monthly pics!! Temptation will always be there, and sometimes we're good at getting past it and sometimes not...the main thing is to keep going even after we slip up.

So keep on going, you are doing great!! emoticon

I just found your page. I haven't been on spark for a long time. Anyways, you are going for Masters...that's great...what are you majoring in?

Do you listen to music while working out? I do and helps me SOOO much. It makes you not think about hard the workout is or it can be.

Don't beat yourself up over what you ate the party. But I know its hard not to and I have been in your spot. My extended family loves their food and it's hard being around them.

Hope you have a good week!!

Believe me -- it is not as bad as it appears-- it is when you constantly "cheat" that the pounds pack on and by the looks of things-- 40 gone-- you are doing awesome! Keep up the good work!

Hi! I enjoyed your video blog. I know what you mean about your skinny friend. LOL. But it is nice that you have a workout buddy. I am looking for a workout buddy but I have no friends up here where I live. Congrats on losing 40 pounds! That is AWESOME girl! Also, I know what you were saying about temptations. I have not been making good food choices lately. I had a bag of popcorn today, cereal, rice and pork and beans etc.. I totally screwed up but tomorrow is a new day! We can do this girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS. Turkey burgers are not bad for you. As long as you cook them the right way and don't over do it. They have a good recipe for turkey burgers on the sparks recipe page.
