What a week

Oh my gosh. I don't know what happened to me this week, but the old Lynn came out with a vengeance.

Last week, I didn't exercise as much, and I was able to snap out of it and get up on time and worked out for an hour on Saturday. That was after the first night my husband stayed up all night to prepare his body to start working nights. He worked Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights, had Thursday off and worked the day shift yesterday (Friday).
That was stress number one.

Another thing on my mind is that I skipped my period. It was supposed to hit during the first week of school for my kids, which was also the first week of my new driving route. I was so stressed out that I'm sure that is why I skipped, but I didn't know for sure (I'm quite regular usually). I was two weeks late on this past Wednesday and was about to go buy a pregnancy test, when things finally started.

I was sleep-deprived, didn't exercise, didn't drink my water, and subsequently had cravings I couldn't control. I ate very poorly, and now I've paid for it.

I wanted to write this out for myself so I could know what happened to cause the weight gain this week when I'm looking back on it. It took me 3 months to lose this last five pounds, and it only took 7 days to eliminate all of that hard work.
I'm really, really hoping that some of it is from being bloated from menstruating, but we shall see next week.

In the meantime, I'm going to do my best to get my bedtime and wake time adjusted back to where they need to be. I think that will help a lot.
(My husband was notified yesterday that he'll be doing the day shift again starting Monday, so that will help immensely).

    Thank you very much, 33NWANT2BSKINNY. When you put the pounds into calories, that was cool. I know I pushed 1800 calories a couple of those days, but not 3500. You are right, I would have been sick as a dog if I had. LOL

  Don't beat yourself up, I am sure it was bloating.
Keep up your exercise, I need to do more cardio too
because I am lagging behind due to a hectic schedule.
I'm not sure you can put on 5 pounds in 7 days because
1 pound = 3500 calories, so that would mean 3500 x 5.
And I don't think you ate that much, you would've got a
migrane or something. Let me know how the scale goes.
