Working out with a trainer is a great thing if you can afford it because you get personalized attention and he/she can move at your pace. I love it. It’s the best thing that I have ever done for myself. However, I think I made a mistake when I tried to mix a personal relationship with a business relationship. He has gotten way too comfortable and has changed times on me more than once and it's only been 2 weeks. He hasn’t weighed or measured me nor does he record anything that I do during our workouts so I don’t know how he is going to measure my progress. I weigh myself because I got to TOPS but he hasn’t done anything of the sorts. Not to mention the treadmill incident and the fact that he came to my house prior to one of our sessions and helped himself to a sandwich in my kitchen without even asking! He and I don’t have that kind of relationship where he can come into my home and help himself to what he wants so that was totally out of line(I was in the bathroom when he made it). I had to tell him about himself and that was the point when I realized that once the sessions that I have paid for are done, so is he. I am joining the YMCA and working with a certified trainer that will be professional and will give me what I pay for. Well at least I gave him a try and it just wasn’t a good fit for us.
