These pics are from as close as I can find among my highest weight days of yore. Sadly (now!) I don't think I can find any of myself when I was at my highest weight of around 450 and I was SO scale aversive that I don't have a clue how much I weighed in any of these pics.
I'm posting these for my own benefit, as my own "switch," if you will, to represent what I NEVER, EVER want to see happen again to me! These are the pics I need to think of if I EVER have thoughts of straying, skipping workouts, eating unhealthy foods!
I'm declaring to myself and the world that I'm just NEVER "going there" AGAIN!

Not the greatest quality pics as they are scans of old photos, but certainly enough to serve as my own personal 2 x4 when I need it!
I went on to my highest weight in the early 1990's, resulting in a gastroplasty (stomach-stapling)which enabled me to drop from around 450 to upper 200's. Then? Back to the bad, old habits...binging on sugar and refined carbs and bouncing back up to the mid-300's by around 2004-2005.
Since then I have been losing weight the old-fashioned tried and true way, via healthy food choices such as SERIOUSLY upping my veggie intake and avoiding all sugar and refined carbs and through EXERCISE, a concept that heretofore was NEVER part of my vocabulary, let alone daily itinerary!
Hope this is helpful to some as a testimony of what we ALL are capable of doing!
I KNOW it will be helpful to ME to keep me on the right track...for the rest of my LIFE!
