I did it!

2 1/2 years ago I was diagnosed w/ COPD. I went for a month gasping for every breath. I sat up all night every night just gasping. I did'nt go to the emergency room because I couldn't afford the bill. It was a Sun. & my family dressed me & rushed me to the emergency room. It was the fastest I had ever been taken care of. I had quit breathing & my guys thought they had lost me. I was in for 5 days. I had seen my doctor & he should have done more & I might not have had to go to the hospital. But I was given a lung specialist thank the lord. I also didn't have to pay the bill because St. Marys helped me w/ their charity fund. I renew every year & they pay for my new doctor. She's great. Also X-rays, labs & emergency room. I pay my lung specialist $20.00 a month & I'm very blessed. My old doctor put me on Predizone & I shot up from 130-135 lbs. to 171 lbs. I never thought I'd get to 140's ,but this morning I was 149. lbs. even. WOW! GOD bless my friends & family. And GOD bless my Spark family. I couldn't have done it w/ out you. I have a ways to go, but I'll get there. Hugs Sparkfriends Love Connie! emoticon emoticon emoticon
