I can see the title of my blog has no bearing on who enters this ghostville haunting ground. There is a hex on all who enter unwelcome unless you redeem yourself in some way. Are you sure you want to keep reading and risk ANOTHER hex????

I am proud to learn that Mazzy0774 and Marthar3 have distinguished our Boo Crew by winning best profile in the icon picture contest for the Sparktoberfest challenge! Way to Go, Girls! emoticon emoticonBravo to the judges because there were some great choices and I'm glad our team came out on top in two of the four categories. emoticon

Now, to the issue of losing 1/2 pound a week. We can sabotage the other 5 teams and trick them into losing. Or, we can rise to the challenge and lose 9 pounds this week by EVERYONE meeting the goal. What do we choose?? I bet it is to LOSE! Let's do it as a team!!

The busier I am, the less I eat. I think this is true for everyone. Let's all try to get in 10,000 steps every day just keeping busy. I'm counting 1,000 steps for doing strength training this morning. If you work in the garden, give yourself 500 steps right off the bat. If you clean the car inside and out, give yourself 800 steps. And, if you have a 2 year old, give yourself 1,000 steps before you even have breakfast. Oh, and don't forget breakfast to get you revved up for the day. Hopefully these tips will come in handy this week.

    WooHoo!!! We can do it!!! I'm getting in more exercise every day. I can't quite make 10,000 steps yet because of breathing issues, but I am increasing my steps every day. I post my steps every day on the Boo Crew chat forum.

I actually started wearing a pedometer and I do have a two year old, and a five year old, and an almost birthday boy who will be eight. I average a little over 15,000 steps a day. A slow day, I'll get in 11,000 a busy day 18,000. Now if I could just stop baking everything would be great. emoticon

Great blog!! I am up for the challenge to lose some weight this week! Even though our goal is only 1/2 lb a week, I am aiming for one big FULL pound!!
