Wow... seeing stress all around with my friends. One had her boyfriend move out unannounced yesterday, and one is quitting her job today.
This reminds me of how during stressful times we often resort to food, alcohol or some other thing that we think will heal the pain that we are feeling in our heart. I've turned to food too many times in the past to try and find healing.
Thanks goodness for Spark and friends who motivate through the difficulties. I love all the articles on here that remind me of all the right things to choose. I did my weekly weigh in today and was up .8 lbs. I had one super cheat meal this past weekend with my BFF where we went for Mexican and Margaritas. That one meal cost me 3 lbs and I've been working it off since then.
Next time we want to do something, I think I'll recommend racketball and smoothies!
Today it's deep breathing and remembering to choose wisely no matter what. My once a month team luncheon is today and I recommended we go to Boston Market after reading the article on SP. I emailed the link to the menu so we could all study it and make a healthy choice before we hit the restaurant.
No one wins a war without a battle plan and today I have one and I'm sticking to it! How about you?
