Conspiracy Theory

Sometimes things conspire against me! I've been really good going to the gym 3 - 4 times a week. But not last week. I went on Sunday, Tuesday and was all set to go on Thursday, but ended up working 12 hours and didn't go. Ok, I figured I could go on Friday. But then my daughter called and asked me to take her food shopping as she is having some financial issues. Ok, I figured I could go to the gym on Saturday. But I had pre-existing plans with my sister in the morning and just didn't get back out to go in the afternoon. By the time Sunday came I was just disappointed at my lack of enthusiam and I didn't go. Of couse, I knew if I did go I would have more energy. It is that vicous circle.
BUT my gym bag is packed so I am off to Planet Fitness (my gym) today after work. If things do not conspire against me again. I hope to get at least the 3 visits in this week.

By the way... I did watch what I ate and did some exercise so the week wasn't a total loss.

    I know the feeling. Something out of the ordinary pops up and has to be dealt with changing your good plans for exercise. keep up the good work and don't let it get you down.

    You are doing fine, as long as you haven't given up you are keeping on track. Sometimes life happens and if you keep moving that helps burn calories as well.

  i think you are doing great, sometimes life just happens and changes are plans. you are doing a great job and don't beat yourself up for missing one day. i hope you get in your 3x this week, but don't fret if you don't. you can always go for a walk. best wishes, melissa emoticon
