The Good Go Young

Thursday, September 10, 2009

My sister in law has been married to my brother for 40 + years. About 2 weeks ago I got a call she was admitted to Hamot Hospital in Erie. They checked her over & found a tumor in her kidney which is benign & tumor in her brain which came out yesterday (9/9/09). It is cancerous and it is in the late stages & there is nothing they can do. They gave 6 months max to live and she only 61. My brother is putting her in the same home my mom died in. He is not taken it well & he wanted to call my mom & tell her and she could help him then he realized she is gone and that really makes it worse.

She was always a very nice person and helped everyone (even strangers)out. So why is God taking her away from us? She told me story on the 4th of July: She was shopping and the person that was with this old woman somehow she got away and she was walking with a walker and she saw her & grabbed her arm and helped her. She was so thankful for people like her. The person that was with her thanked her for grabbing her and helping so they could find her.

Now my sister in law is confused & knows nothing of what is going on. She was always used to taking care of people young & old. I guess in her own way it is good she doesn't comprehend this. She would not like this all.

The only think I can do now is pray for her & hope for a miracle.

I went through with a friend a couple of years ago and my hubby recently did. It's very sad.
