Alright so my life has been a total roller coaster lately!
I'm now living in a completely different country..and trying to cope with the culture shock.
I discovered Johnsons Up Day Down Day diet and I really want to give this a go. I haven't been on many *official* diets before, so this will be interesting.
I like the sound of this one..because I want to incorporate fasting and healthy choices into my lifestyle.
Sounds good anyway, eh?
My daily notes so far:
Alternate day dieting..
August 31st, 2009
Website calculator says my Up days = 2351 and Down days = 470.
Starting weight approx 196 lbs (that was last month at the dr) I don't have a scale yet
so I can't keep proper track. But I'll get a head start on dieting and maybe surprise myself later on when we get a scale.
8/31 - Down day. Or discovery day, rather.
Lots of water.
4 crackers total so far. (had a slight stomach virus thing..not trying to starve myself, honest)
Sprite 150 (I never drink soda..don't know why I indulged this time..but whatever)
Kfc = 700 or so.
Gonna be impossible to do this when I can't cook my own meals yet. =/
living with in-laws at the moment and in a foreign country...fun
9/1 - Down day take 2 (Official day 1)
8:30 am - had my vitamins and water. Off we go..
9:40 am - medium sized banana 108 cals
Study study study
Went to the store..walked a little bit. Paid bills (that's always stressful, maybe I burned some cals then lol)
11:40 am - granola energy bar 176 cals
Total so far: 284
Still feeling ok. I smell chicken curry and it's so annoyingly wonderful smelling. Argh.
Hang in there, girl. Loose jeans will feel better than that smell!
Rejoined Spark People. That will help. There's a team thread there for this diet. YESSSS!!
God, I'm hungry.
Got a nursing exam coming up. It's not over a chapter, or even a few chapters. It's over a whole entire textbook. Yes, I'm that crazy!
