so, i've decided to start doing monthly goal blogs in order to keep me accountable and motivated throughout the month. here are my goals for the month of september:
1. FOOD - TRACK EVERY DAY!
plan: i'm already getting a lot better at this, but i still slip up sometimes...my goal is to track all of my food for the month of september. a lofty one, but i can do it! it always helps me to stay on track!
2. WATER - AT LEAST 9 CUPS A DAY
plan: this will be very important when i get back into school...it's easy to go to the machine and get a diet pop, but i really want to make sure i get in all my water and then some...using my water bottle (24 oz) will be integral to exceeding this goal, as it's only 3 water bottles for 9 cups...i'm setting that as the goal, but ideally, i'd like to get more like 12 cups. we shall see.
3. EXERCISE - ST AT LEAST 3 TIMES A WEEK!
plan: i will be utilizing the SP videos for this, along with the strength training equipment at my gym. i need to get my lower body and core tight to help me with my running, so i'm going to start to focus more on these areas.
4. WEIGHT LOSS - LOSE 8.5 POUNDS BY OCT. 1 TO GET INTO THE 210'S
plan: this is a big goal, as i haven't been losing more than 1.5 pounds per week lately, but i'm hoping that with staying on track with my eating and my 10K training regimen, i'll be able to pull this off!
not a long list, but i'm starting out small! i'll check in mid-month, and again at the end of the month to talk about my progress.
