Whew! School has started

School has started. That has taken some of the pressure off me. For the last two weeks, I have been overwhelmed at work and stressed. I've been working at this small college for six months now and I've taken over for the person who had previously helped them with software issues. We haven't had to call him lately and that makes me feel good. I have learned so much at this new job! I have a lot of great new skills to put on my resume.
I have done very well with my eating some days and badly on other days. I hope to level that out. I was proud that on Thursday, when we went to Golden Corral and had the buffet, I had a plate of vegetables and a plate of fruit. I was very satisifed and I hope that I didn't consume too many calories. I haven't been exercising regularly, but I have been walking around the college campus as much as possible. When someone needs help, I walk to their office.
I've gotten accustomed to my Blackberry Storm and I really like it! We got MobiTV on our phones to replace XM satellite radio and save money. XM has gone out of our price range in the last few months. MobiTV is awesome! Of course, the screen is tiny. But, that's ok. While I was walking between buildings at my school, I turned on MobiTV for a moment and got - commercials! Then, when walking back, I decided to turn it on again and caught - more commercials! LOL!
We don't have to mow this weekend. This will be our week to stock up on supplies at WalMart. I am trying to fix up my office at work as much as possible without making it inconsistent with everyone else's office. I am going to take a few old bookcases to work when it isn't raining. If the bookcase sticks out of the back of my CRV, I don't want it to get wet! I am getting small containers to hold the contents of my "kitchen" that I have in my office. I have been able to keep eating pretty healthy by taking breakfast and lunch to work with me. It helps a lot that there are no convenient restaurants around.
This weekend, I plan to eat and track carefully. I plan to do my weight workout. I hope that everyone has a wonderful weekend!
