I've started tracking what I'm eating with the spark tool and it's eye opening. Since I'm a meat and potatoes kind of girl, it's going to take a lot of discipline and forward thinking to get all my fruits and veggies in. I prefer veggies over fruit but I am confident that I can do it. But, why did I stop by McD's for breakfast this morning?!? OMG! I'm glad I bagged my gym bag today. I have a date with the treadmill and it's going to be brutal. LOL
Girl, you can make an Egg McMuffin at home! Make it the night before and pop it in the microwave or toaster oven in the morning if you're short on time.
I would cook more if I had the time. When I do cook, I usually on have a short amount of time in the kitchen before I'm off to something else. I guess I have to figure out how to plan in more kitchen time so I can cook healthier meals. I have looked at some options under recipes here using things I already have. That helps.
I plan my food for the entire week and that really help because if I do not that mindless emotional eating will slip in. Every Monday morning my weekly food planner goes on the front of my frig. Why don't you buy the food from the grocery store e and make your own healthy version of the fast foods that you eat. Good luck.
