I've gained a new habit at work. Since I'm not smoking anymore (more on that in a minute) I was finding that I was sitting at my desk entirely too long. My neck and back was starting too get cramped up. That wasn't a problem when I would go out to smoke. So, now whenever I use the bathroom (which can be quite often with the amount of water I consume) I'm always doing the 'quick fires' and any other exercise that I can do standing up. When the guys are out of the office, I'm up and walking around the warehouse and through the office.
Pretty amazing that I actually get some more work done as well. There are not people asking me to go outside anymore so I can concentrate a little better - that's not really saying much seeing as everyone seems to think when they pass me they need to say something smart/stupid/funny, etc (all in fun) I would swear there is a sign that says - Please pester Stephanie on your way by.......
So, anyway - I've lost the bad habit of cigarettes and gained a new one of fitting in a little extra exercise - pretty darn good deal!!!!!
As of yesterday, I am one month smoke free
