How I spent my summer vacation. It was not a pretty picture. The weather has been terrible. Too much rain not enough sun veggies are way behind season. The outdoor pools didn't see many this year. The temps were great if the rain stayed away. We had 6 tornadoes touch down in one day near Toronto. Cambridge was just flooded in some areas. If it isn't raining it is tooooooo HOT! to go out. So much for the weather report.
Sparking has been neglected due to sharing the computer with the kids etc.
Eating has been terrible. Not tracking. Exercise has been lacking I get to aquafit when I can but now I babysit at there home and don't get home until 6 so I had to cancel my membership at the pool minutes from my house. there last class is 5:45. I started going to the 8 PM class at the public pool. It was going GREAT I think I went all 4 nights it is open for 2 weeks then life got in the way. Grandchildren came for a visit etc. So I made it as often as possible some weeks not at all. My feet are so sore 24/7 that it makes walking for exercise not really a possibility and by the time I get in the bed at night everything that can will hurt. I have been taking more pain medication in the last few weeks.
I am planning on making serious changes on Sept. 8th the first day of my new start. I will sugar detox, I will exercise on Tues. Thurs. and Sat mornings. Maybe just maybe 1 night a week also. Sometimes when I go to night aquafit I don't eat my dinner until 9:30 or later. So I don't want to get into that habit and I am so rushed at night that I feel overwhelmed and I know that is my trigger to eat unhealthy. I am exhausted every night when I go out so I really want to try the morning classes once the kids are back in school. I will start making menus for the lunches I bring and I will set aside snacks etc. and not bring anything extra. They don't have much of anything that will deter me at the house where I babysit so that is a good thing. I do get some exercise chasing and carrying the baby around she is a going concern now. 14 months and so full of energy.

    Hi Teri,

    So sorry that the weather has been terrible for you. I'm glad to see that you have plans to get back on track. That may help with the fatigue problem. I quit my gym and am going to a heated public pool too. I've been going for 3 weeks and already I can see a difference. Hopefully I'll keep it up! Good luck with your fresh start. If you need a friend, you know that I'm here for you!
