My Biggest Challenge

I think this quote could definitely include that of a healthier life style. Changing you lifestyle is a huge challenge in itself. Along the way you also meet many smaller challenges that you must over come to meet your ultimate goal, mine being A Healthier Me including mind, spirit, and body.
One larger challenge that I am trying to over come at this time is one that needs much discipline. I am trying to get up earlier so I can get my workouts done in the morning. I feel so much better through out the day and have so much more energy when I can do this. When I started my journey, my life was so chaotic I was just happy getting my workout in. Now my workouts have become a part of my day and I would like to give them my time and dedication with as little disruption as I can. For me this means doing them in the morning, which in turn will also give me time to relax and clear my mind for the day.
I am determined to do this and think I need to do it one step at a time. With this said, beginning Monday (tomorrow) I am going to make myself get up when my alarm goes off. If I can do this for a whole week, next week I can set it even earlier. Then I will be at the time I want everyday and they say after you do it so long your body just adjusts. I hope so. I am going to pray about this and maybe the Lord will even step in and help me (of course he will).

    Its a great goal and it seems like you are in already on your way there. It is definitely hard when life is chaotic and i know how that goes. I think you should already be proud of the fact that love exercise and the way it clears your head and gets you going.

    I've always had problems with early morning wake-ups but I love the idea of getting my work-out done before work. I have my fingers crossed for you.

    Getting up early to exercise is sooo hard, but like you, I think it's completely worth it. Keep working at it. You have the right mindset and motivation.

    Sounds like a great game plan for getting your workouts in bright and early. I've heard it said that when you commit to working out when you get up in the mornign, it really gets u revved and ready to continue the rest of your day in a healthy way. This is something that everyone who struggles to get their workouts in should be looking at, myself included : )

    If you dedicated to doing this and you follow through you will succeed He helps those who ask for it emoticon You seem to have a great plan for doing so just make sure you maintain the same time even on weekend because they say that by getting up even an hour later on weekends it can reset your internal alarm clock Good luck emoticon
