New pants day

Had a dim sum brunch with some friends yesterday, afterwards we walked over to the HUGE asian market and shopped around for a while. I realized that my pants were falling off so K and I headed over to Old Navy afterwards and I checked out some new jeans in both my current size and one down. Grabbed a few cute tops on the way as well.

Much to my shock both the smaller jeans AND the smaller tops fit perfectly. That means that I have gone from an XL top to a M and from an 18 to a 14 since Feb. Plus I really haven't lost much in the way of pounds in a month or so at ALL. It's really nice to see changes like that (A WHOLE SIZE!) when there's been no movement on the scale. It means that all of my work at the gym is really paying off.

Now I just wish I could find some non-boot cut jeans in a nice dark wash, I am all hips and thighs (thanks mom!) and bootcut is just not for me! They fit but they fit so tight on my thighs that it's almost comical!

Before I started losing weight wearing form fitting clothes sometimes made me feel like a cartoon parody of a woman, I was all boobs, tiny waist and exaggerated hips. Now that my boobs are shrinking and everything is tightening up, I feel more like a real person :D

    Hooray! Hooray for new pants day! It's too bad my mother totally took all the pants bag pants or I could have sent you back with a bunch too. I know how you feel... I was bummin' after my half that I gained 2 lbs and then I looked at pictures from March and pictures from race day and I look like I lost at least 10.

    Good for you! What a boost to drop a whole size, and sometimes you just need a boost. And, sorry about the hips and thighs.
