I am now two weeks into SP and today I ran across a lot of information regarding sodium. I have not put any thought into what my sodium intake has been so far. However, now I fear that my sodium intake has and or will affect my weight loss. I read somewhere today that one day of high sodium intake can prevent you from losing any weight that week. I went to my nutritional goals and added sodium to be tracked. At the end of the day I went 1500 mg over the recommended 2300 mg!!! Only my tracker didn't reflect my intake until after the day was done. I am hoping this is due to me changing the goal in the middle of the day and for tomorrow I will be able to see the sodium just like I can see calories, fat, carbs and protein.
I refuse to look at this as a reason to not care. Instead I am looking at is as an additional challenge to my new lifestyle. I am really trying to dig into every article I can find on anything that will educate me and guide me to get fit and lose weight. SP has so much information and I am learning new stuff everyday!
