Whew. I'm beat.

Got back up on that treadmill again, despite my body's protests, and pushed the limits. This time, I set my Nike+ to 5K and knew there was going to be a point in which I walked. The question was when. Was I going to beat yesterday's 3K distance? Was I going to beat my previous 1 mile time?

Yep and yep.

3.5K before walking. I walked for 1K. Ran the final .5K. Finished the whole 5K distance in 27:04. If this was last year's Farmington Road Race (which I've registered for this year's), not only would I have finished, but I wouldn't even have been last.

Skipping Wii Active today. I've already done my 2nd shower of the day. That's my limit. Just want to crawl into bed. Tomorrow's the day when I watch my son all day. I don't get much done on Tuesdays. You know...except the quality parenting time.

Now where's the ice for that knee?

    Congrats!!! You're time is a lot better than mine!! I think I'm going to end up right around 35 minutes for a 5k, but just accomplishing it will be good enough for me!

I'm also using the Nike+ I LOVE it. Although the female voice I had to tell me when I reached certain points in the workout just stopped working for no reason a week or so ago. I didn't change settings or anything!! GRRRR

Anyways, keep it up, you're doing great!!
