So today is the start of a new lifestyle for me. The first 8 weeks consist of VERY low carbs. only 5 carbs per a 5 hour period. I started this morning at 179.6 lbs. The book says the first 3 days are the toughest bc your body is adjusting to not having carbs and is looking for another source for energy, which will be fat. It says I will be moody, possibly a little dizzy, tired, and maybe headachey. Im hoping it wont be that bad!! I feel fine right now other than heart burn from my Acid Reflux disease. Then again, its only 8:46 am!
For breakfast I had 1 egg & 1 egg white scrambled with 1 tbs of cheese and 2 slices of turkey bacon. It was horrid. Im not a big fan of eggs so tomorrow will definately be something other than eggs. I had to choke this mornings down.
Morning snack will be a handful of cashews and string cheese.
Lunch is undecided at this point. Possibly a low-carb tortilla with sliced turkey and cheese...We'll see.
I plan to blog daily to keep myself on track and hopefully lose the last 40 lbs!
