Well, since joining Sparkpeople, I have tried to straighten up my act with the environment. I've tried reusing my plastic water bottles with everything from juice to milk. Well 2 months ago I caved in & I bought a Brita Water Pitcher cause I don't like the taste of my faucet water here in Chicago. Go figure. I didn't too much care for the taste of the first Brita filter.
So I still continued to drink my bottle water & combine it with the Brita water. Well I went to Target yesterday determined to have fresh water & bought a new Brita filter & WOW! The taste was like I was . . . .
over a fresh water fall! So fresh & I can drink it without mixing it with bottle water or crystal light! SO I got fresh water people!! If life is a sport, I'm gonna drink it dry!!
We love our Brita water system. My only gripe, is the age old one, of some inconsiderate teenager not refilling the pitcher, leaving one ounce of water in the whole thing. AHHHHHH!!!
I'm so glad we have good water where I live. You go to the next town and it's terrible - yuck!!! Kenyon would need a second job if we needed to buy our water - ha ha.
Water can be one of the hardest things to drink when you don't like the flavor. I have the same problem finding good tasting water to drink. I will keep that in mind!
