My head spins of the new information I am taking in. Data in, garbage out. I keep thinking of ways to tweak the program to speed it up. I learned today that you must burn 3,500 calories to lose a pound of fat. So there I am going into my reports and tracking what I ate and what I burned...my caloric differential. To see if I can lower calories and increase exercise. Can I adjust my carbs, etc... Point is if I try to go to fast I know I will fall. I must have patience. Slowly but surely.

In my life I have often tried to do things my own way. To cut corners. This has never worked for me. In fact, I am an addict in recovery. The only way I overcame my addiction was by learning to follow directions and taking it one day at a time. Of course, I could have never done that without God and there is no way I would be able to do this without Him either. But it is a slow process of progress and not perfection. It is a lifestyle change and not a quick fix.

Dear God,
Thank you for giving me new tools to improve my life even more than I have. Thank you for SP! Thank you for the realization that this is not going to happen overnight and no one said it would be easy however, your grace is sufficient to see me through to the end...to the goal. In Jesus name, AMEN!

    It's pretty easy to tweak your way of eating and moving
and lose 2-3 pounds a month.
Sounds like nothing, right?
That's 24-36 pounds a year. emoticon
