For the last three and a half weeks I have been in a lot of pain. Due to playing sports when I was young and being over weight now I have degenerated discs in my lower back. I know (and have been told by doctors) that the best way to relieve some of the pain is to lose weight. How can I exercise if I can't even walk?
I've thought about going to the gym and just doing what I can do. But what can I do? Everything requires the back in some way or another. Any suggestions?
