Did well again today with eating and stayed the course. Did the 10 minute cardio kickboxing Bootcamp video which was sort of fun. Hadn't done it before so some of the moves were a bit new to me... but all in all I was able to follow along okay. Did the 3 mile walking dvd and built up a sweat. I haven't added the resistance bands yet but do plan to see about modifing my bands to use with the video.
Weighed this morning and I'm almost back down to where I started in July. I'm ready to make some progress! Would like to see 2 more pounds gone by the end of August and start off September in the 130s. At this point, I still have 9 pounds to lose by year end to make my goal for 2009.

Did well with eating today so I am happy. Wanted to do a bit more walking but ran out of time as I vacuumed the house. Made my "trial" batch of zucchini bread this morning and had fun using Mix Master and Rotary grater. I haven't used either of these in ages so felt good about putting them to use. The recipe was easy and it turned out well. I also think it will work for pumpkin and banana bread. With the amount of zucchini we have coming out of the garden though I'll stick with zucchini for now. Pumpkins are on the way though so will give that a try probably starting in October.

Did marginally okay with eating today. Had breakfast at home and ate out at lunch (Marie Callendars) with Steve/Sue as we were in Portland. Didn't get in my walking DVD today but did do a little walking at the mall and also climbed some stairs.

Well, it is August and I need to get focused big time! Been eating WAY too much and definately don't like that. I recently read an article about eating foods that are loaded with fat and sugar... food companies do it on purpose to get you hooked... sort of like taking heroin! It certainly is an issue for me. So with that in mind, I'm going to get back on track with my eating and exercise. I don't typically blog much so maybe I'll add a few comments everyday on what I'm eating and what I did for exercise. Today I've been on the road so my eating and exercising is off track, but I'll be home by early evening so should have a chance to get some exercise in I hope.
