Falling down my porch steps! OUCH !

Sunday, August 02, 2009

OUCH! A few days ago I was going down my back porch steps and as I looked down at them and saw they they were really wet from the rain I said to my self to be careful. And guess what? My left foot just slipped out in front of me and I went down on my behind real hard and slid down three steps. At first I was afraid to even move I wasn't sure if I was bleeding or if I broke a bone but I sure knew that I was hurting. My daughter came running out to see if I was ok. I said " Do you see any blood?" she said "No Mom let me help you up." Well I made it back inside and put ice on where it hurt on my left elbow area. Needless to say my behind, right and left arm are black and blue and are really sore. But I am really thankful to God and my guardian angel that I did not break and bone because I sure could have. emoticon emoticon

Sorry about your fall~~~glad you weren't hurt worse. I fell about a year ago and scared my grand daughter near to death. Did end up with 7 staples in my head and in a brace for my knee for 8 weeks. But all is fine now.
