Tedious at times I find that the nutrition tracker, in the beginning took me a good deal to fill out everyday. Now most of the food items I eat are already in my favorites list so it does not take me so long. The nutrition tracker has been a huge part in my weight loss. Before I started tracking my food I had no idea how many calories, carbs protein or fat was in a food that I ate almost everyday. No wonder I was not losing weight in the start I was eating more calories than I burned. I had no clue of portion control really, I never thought about it b/c I had never thought about losing weight until after I had my daughter in May of last year. The tracker helped me figure out a serving size and to just stick to ONE! There are still days when It takes me a bit to enter in the food I will eat during the day. I almost always enter my food before I eat it b/c it show me that I am not going over on calories, fat or sodium before it goes in my mouth. Entering foods before lets me know if I need to change a meal for the day or if can have a little dish of yogurt or a few pieces of dark chocolate at the end of the day. I think the tracker has been one of the best tools to aid me in my weight loss goals. It really puts food consumption into perspective. It also taught me about sodium, which I didnt know was not good for you but everything seems t have sodium. I say tracking food is the biggest thing to exercising in helping with weight loss.
