I never expected to see a number on the scale below my goal of 120 but my last weigh-in on Thursday showed 119.7. I was ecstatic! I'd like to get to 118 - so I've lowered my goal weight - only so when the muscle starts to build more and that adds extra weight I can still be at my goal weight and buff to boot! I'm so psyched now that I may just bite the financial bullet and unfreeze my gym membership. The couple pairs of dumbbells and the one resistance band I have are not cutting it anymore. But HEY! I have three cats and many 14 lb. containers of scoop litter - that ought to work for increased weight for strength training for a while, no? LOL! Maybe the few gallons of water we keep on hand for emergencies will work too!
I am just so grateful for SparkPeople and all the tools and most importantly the community support. This site is the BEST thing out there! It beats the pay sites hands down a million times over!
Keep it up Chris and crew - you guys ROCK!
