It seems all my blogs are down this year. I promise to find more positive fodder for the future....just not this month.

We started July with the infamous "Snake Indecent" (see prior blog).

The following week saw the death of Emma the wonder dog (Old age, kidney, and liver problems)

This Monday, Emma's sweet, sweet sister, Lovey, suddenly collapsed. She was a big doggie (125lbs) a Chow/Lab mix. The problem was a nearly basketball sized tumor that ballooned on her spleen almost overnight. She will be sorely missed, too.

I also managed to damage my right knee whilst loading Lovey into the van for the frantic emergency run to the vet and have been off work (not being paid) for the last two days. Tomorrow, I get to see my Doctor to see if I've done any lasting damage to the knee...and to see about residual damage from the bike wreck (previous post).

Lack of exercise is frustrating....
The loss of two wonderful beings in my life is absolutely devastating....
The house feels so empty....
I'm injured....
I'm broken inside and out....
I'm so ready for July to be over.

Oh my ... I am so sorry that you lost your Lovey. And being injured and unable to exercise is awful. No wonder you're feeling down. What did the doctor say? Can you do exercise that doesn't involve the knee?

I am so sorry for all the trials you are going through.

Best to you around the corner.
