Yay Me! I went slightly further in slightly less time! Since most of this is timed the only way I can cut the time is durring the 5 min warm up and cool down, but I can definitely increase the distance durring the timed part. Its easier to push the second run of the week since I know what its really going to be like. My shin splints are gone thank goodness! I was puffing quite a bit after my last run but felt good about the whole thing.
I have officially signed up for my race on Sept 10. Its an all women race. They are having a lecture or some such thing at Lady Foot Locker (one of the sponsors) at the mall on Saturday. I'm wondering if I can score some free goodies or at least some good information and advice.
