Weather in the 90's

Monday, July 20, 2009

This past week, and it looks like this week as well, we have had temps in the 90's. As a result we either have not been able to go out or we have had to go out really early in the day. Wouldn't be too bad if things had been good the first part of the month but we are definitely in a bind now. I know things will work out in the end the waiting is hard for me though.

Same problem where I live. Too hot to go out or too fatigued from the heat to do anything. Can't sleep even with the fans going. I put off doing anything and an only eat salads until it cools down. Eventually you will catch up and be able to do what you need and want. I hope it cools down for you.

There are a couple great reasons one is that two of the medications I am on I am not suppose to have my skin exposed to the bright sun so when we do go out to work I have to wear long sleeves etc. no matter what the weather. In addition we work as street musicians and are out in one location for two to three hours at a time with no shade. When it gets over 80 to 85 thee is no way to keep my body temp down even with the wet wraps around my wrists and neck. I have had 3 heat strokes in the past and don't care to have any more.
