I have to admit I hardly worked out the last week of my previous challenge. This year my back and shoulders have been extremely sore. Also, since my daughter started summer school, started ABA, then got sick and many, many annual appointments came up for each family member it made life beyond hectic. I was pretty upset to see the scale had gone back up again this morning from last weeks weigh in when I felt that I hadn't eaten much diffeent from the previous week and lost 2 lbs. It just seems that no matter what I eat, how often or how much I seem to keep coming back up to the 130's on the scale. It is however nice to see the slight fat loss and slight muscle gain since the start week of SSSU but emphasising the word SLIGHT here it leaves me longing for my younger years when little effort had gained HUGE and fast results. So I'm going to give it one more good ol' college try and go back to logging, weighing and measuring all my food and consuming 5-6 small meals. I also am going to lift heavier for less reps this challenge (minding my back & shoulders) working a push pull plan. I'm keeping the cardio at 2 HIIT days (M&F) with 1 SS (W). God willing I'll see some results at the end of this week...if I could just get down to a healthy 125 my wardrobe might fit me again...my sweatpant rotation is dragging me down quite a bit in the self esteem department.
