Well, I still haven't gone to the gym, but I did go on a 1 mile walk last night around 8PM. It has been so hot around here, I wait until dusk to venture out. I pulled the two little kids in the wagon and DH walked the dog. It was nice to go out again, but it made me want to run. I was not exerting myself enough and my body knew it. I guess I should try to do it again tonight, eh? This time I will take the dog with me and leave the little ones with DH. Sounds like a plan. My class is heading into "finals" next week, so I have two papers and one exam tomorrow and another TWO next week. Yikes! Thats the bad thing about trying to cram an entire semester into 5 weeks.
I hope to get back on the training schedule soon, I still want to finish the marathon in October Without paramedic assistance! HA! I have modified my eating since I started school. I have been eating vegetarian for b-fast and lunch every weekday and limiting myself to tiny amounts of fish with my dinner. I have never eaten so much food, really it is hard to get all the nutrients I need from veggies. I am still learning and am trying to expand my repitoire of vegetarian cooking skills.
Just FYI, I am not having the kids go vegetarian, I seriously think they would starve if I tried. LOL! DH is also continuing his P90X workouts, so he is always hungry as a horse, and likes his chicken/pork. He does like Tempeh and Tofu though, so there is hope...
