Okay, so I am officially done with round one of HCG. I ended up losing about 15 lbs. all together. I am pleased with that. Who loses 15 lbs in four weeks doing no exercise and feeling extremely energetic?! I DID! So, all in all, successful! Towards the end I found my self getting hungry, wanting pizza, or chinese my friends were having. That was unusual considering my previous weeks on the HCG. I spoke with my dr and she said that some peoples body's get immune to the amount that you take on this diet. I believe that is what was happening. Even in my last week I lost three pounds, don't get me wrong, that is great, but compaired to the one to two pounds a day is a little discouraging too. I was ready to taste some normal foods. Still healthy and nutritous foods, but something different than what i was eating for four weeks straight. So, bottom line, we believe that if I take a four week break from the HCG diet then I will benefit more from it when i start back up and do another round. I am starting to slowly introduce fats, carbs/starches, and sugars into my diet. I will start at around 800 cals for the first few days, then bump it up a couple of hundred every few days until i am in the range i need to be in. I will exercise regularly over this next month, and hopefully I can drop another eight to ten pounds on my own by the time the next round hits. I am serious about this, and after completing those 28 days on HCG I feel like this will be obtainable. Wish me luck!
