Week 3 Praise the Lord!

What a week! Work was way too stressful and my hip pain is worse. Had a dentist visit which freaked me out a bit, at midweek I saw no weight loss and considered giving up. In the end I knew that wasn't the right attitude so analyzed my diet and prayed about it and kept plugging along. Didn't really change much of anything but today I had lost 2 pounds!

As far as exercise, I stretched 10 minutes most days and threw in some back exercises too. That plus work was all I got done but it was more than I normally do and all I'm physically able to do, so that's progress and I'm pleased.

I want to believe this program is working for me and that I CAN lose all the weight but I've gained and lost the same 5 pounds repeatedly so I'm afraid to get my hopes up. Therefore, I am just going to keep working the program and doing my best and pray God blesses me with results. The support from teammates has been wonderful! Thanks to everyone who has encouraged me, I hope I can be an encouragement to others as well. And praise to God for caring for me!

    Congrats on losing 2 lbs.! I have not actively been watching what I eat in a couple of months because I've been so stressed, so I'm trying to get back on track this week. I do what I can towards exercise, but my balance is so bad that it's hard to do more than hold onto the furniture and stretch--but like you, it's all I can physically do right now.

You had a great attitude when you decided NOT to give up mid-week! Keep that going and you'll have the formula for success!
