Back on Medifast

Tuesday, July 07, 2009

Okay, so when I stopped Medifast last time, I forgot to cancel the auto ship. So I wound up with a couple more boxes (darn you procrastination!!). SO! Since I can't return after 30 days, and I again procrastinated that long, I figured I may as well use 'em. I'd gained back nearly 5lbs with all my relatives visiting over this past month, and I was feeling a little panicked that Onederland was slipping further from my grasp. So the thought of 3-5lbs/wk weight loss was just too tempting. If I lose at the same rate I did last time I'll weigh 170lbs by my birthday September 3rd!! 170 is friggen crazy!!!! That's under my 3rd grade weight!! So I'm doing it as a birthday present to myself. I'm just having so much trouble building consistency with how crazy my life is right now, so a nice easy-to-follow prepackaged food thing really is the best right now. But I gotta tell ya, if it weren't for SP building healthy lifestyle habits there is NO WAY I'd be able to maintain after going off Medifast. The Medifast program does nothing to teach you how to live after it, in fact it says that to keep replacing one meal with a Medifast one FOREVER! wtf! And over and over again on the site it says that you can always go back on medifast if you start to gain again, uhh no thanks. How about eating healthy and moving enough that you don't need it? Hello SP!
