Okay seriously...I was just uploading some pictures from our recent lake trip. My husband got a hold of the camera (taking a picture of me by accident because I've sworn him to keep me out the pictures). But my big back side managed to get in a shot while he was taking a picture of our oldest son driving the boat.

I must have a warped view of my body image because I knew I was big, but I didn't realize I was THAT BIG - gross! Now you can see why I stay out of pictures!

In any event, that was sure a huge wake up call for me. NO MORE sneaking snacks, no more "I'll start tomorrow", no more "one won't hurt". Geez louise, clearly they have added up and they have hurt me big time!

I sure would appreciate any and all help to keep me accountable on this journey. I've slacked off on my exercising (which I didn't really think was helping anyway) but I've got to get back to it. I have to stop shoving any and all snacks into my big mouth. I can't get bummed out here - I have to get pissed - I have to get motivated. I HAVE to lose this weight. I WANT MY BODY BACK!!!!

Pictures are definitely an eye opener. I know people who post theirs on their refrigerator as a reminder, I would probably never eat again if I did that.
I know it seems like your not getting anywhere when you are working out but realy it is, it just takes time. I you stay with it, because YOU are worth it. Don't you think?

Taking pictures is a good weigh to measure success. When I am not sure HOW I really look, that's what I do. I take pictures of myself. The WORST ones are the ones where someone has taken a pic of me from BEHIND!!! UGH!

I hate pictures of myself. I'm the one taking pictures of everyone else. The only picture of myself is the one on my driver's license and I hate that one too.

Take one day at a time. Take one step at a time. You will accomplish alot more. That's what I am doing. IF I fall off the wagon, I just dust myself off and get back on. To err is human. emoticon

I had the same realization this weekend. Cleaned out my cupboards and went to the grocery for fresh foods. Fruits and vegetables. Remember you can do this! You are not alone! We have all been where you are and will help you through this.

I don't like pictures of myself either. Shoulders & up isn't so bad, but the rest... emoticon Look at the picture of me & Tom on my page- we both look pregnant. The only difference is, he can (& has in the past) lose his belly with minimal work/change in a little over 2 months emoticon . If only I had it that easy...

Funny how we never truly see ourselves as we are - we either think we look too big or never realize how big we are. I remember when I had that same "holy sh!t" moment a little over a year ago when seeing a picture of myself. You can do this! We can do this together! Let's get it done!

Hi, Michelle! You know where to find me and I'm there for you! I'll try to keep you out of that cookie jar and we'll have fun doing it together! Send me a message and let's do it. I know I have offered in the past -- but let's make that "past", "now" and get you going feeling positive and attacking that snacking monster! We can do it -- just let me know -- I'm ready when you are!

I had the same thoughts about myself this weekend!!!! Enough already! Good luck! Sometimes we need to see the pictures to make it sink in. I have to stop the snacks too. I think I am my own worst sabotager!!!
