What a different 6 weeks can make!

Sunday, July 05, 2009

Hello all!
Six weeks with SP has made a huge difference in my life. I have gone from barely being able to get out of bed without stretching first, and missing an average of 5 days a month at work due to my fibromyalgia, to sore muscles that are actually exercise related and being able to run. Yes! I can actually run now. And I did not miss a day of work for the complete month of June.

The ability to move about my daily life and keeping the fibro in check is the major goal in my life but due to SP, I have also lost weight, am eating healthier, and drinking plenty of water. I am still not sleeping right, but then that does come with fibro and the medication.

I have decreased the medication that I use from seven to two. I think clearer, andI remember simple things in my daily life. Due to the decrease in cognitive abilities with fibro, I am aware that this will not disappear completely, but I am happy with the results this far.

Six weeks ago, I picked up a magazine which made mention of the SP site, and I am now glad that I have joined and am living the results of the changes made due to that article. Thank you SP!

Thanks so much for sharing you Spark-so-far story and including these details. I bet your sleep will still improve, too. It does feel so good to have genuine soreness cuz we've worked it!

We have the desire to not only stop being the Fat Folks, but also to stop being the Sick Folks. Congratulations on being able to work a whole month with no sick days! You are going to be a walking poster for SP!
