Get up at 5:30am and go for a walk/jog - - - CHECK!
I did it! It wasn't easy. Every fiber of my being wanted to hit the snooze button and go back to sleep...but I got my lazy behind out of bed, put my work out clothes and my tennis shoes on and went for a 20 minute morning walk/jog. It was mostly walking but I had sudden bursts of energy where I would jog to a certain point before returning to a fast walk.
I did the same for about 25-30 minutes last night with our boxer, Cheyanne. Then we met some people down the street who also have a boxer. I think they became friends. Perhaps we'll have to plan a doggie play date. Too bad they're both fixed...we could have some cute pups. Oh well...
Had a nice dinner of tilapia and carrots last night with a piece of multigrain toast. Then we snacked on some popcorn last night. The scale said I was down 3 lbs this morning from Monday. Of course, that's probably all water weight...but I will take it anyway I can get it. My face has already cleared up dramatically in the last few days. Its amazing what more water and less fatty/greasy foods will do.
I'm feeling good...a little sore in the calf/thigh area but it's sort of a good sore feeling, if that makes any sense...
I am back in the game and I'm going to win this time!
