Why is it that when I find the perfect Birk sandal in gold, it isn't available in the US?

Why is it that the perfect travel dress didn't go on sale online until this week, and I'm flying out on Friday - no way to get the dress here on time for the trip?

And why did this stupid Sahara dust have to show up when I was on a roll getting the mural cleaned up and ready for grout?

Of course, why do I have to have asthma so that I can't be outside in this dust?
